Music, Movies, and Books
Just kidding.
I like good music of most varieties. Primarily folk, electronica, funk/soul, jazz and hip hop. I play trumpet, harmonica and lots of other random noise makers.
I like side-splitting high brow movies, 1960's romance/mystery/spy movies, really low-brow comedies about young ladies in awkward dating situations, terribly depressing movies, uncomfortable to watch movies, and movies with really bright lighting and absolutely no background music.
Books: Mostly non-fiction, socio-political and/or environmentally focused audiobooks that are over 10 hours long.
Some of my favourite authors: Michael Pollan, Gabor Mate, Steven Pinker, Yuval Noah Harari, Malcolm Gladwell
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Wrestling alligators... with my eyes... on an air-boat.
Spent a summer living in a tent in the mountains working on an organic farm. I know it sounds not that amazing, but it was. Life-changingly so.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to slackline! We just need a couple of trees and some flat, soft ground to fall on. And how to make perfect breakfast potatoes (I've learned not to call them hashbrowns... apparently that has a different meaning to pretty much everyone)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'll cook you the best breakfast you've ever had.
