About Me
Updated on 22/05/2024
Hi, I'm Pratik from Mumbai, Maharashtra. Living a bohemian life for a few years. I like to travel and explore. I work alongside travelling if I'm WFH. I sometimes travel along with my mom who also loves CS.
I was working in Koraput for a couple of months and was actively hosting travellers (plz check my references). Now I'm on a sabbatical break for a few weeks and planning to roam and explore a few tourist places. I will be travelling to Coastal Odisha, Western and South Odisha. Plz lemme know if you can host me for 1-2 days. After staying for a few days in Vizag I'm planning to move along the East coast in the northern direction and visit the coastal towns of Odisha. Any kind of help will be deeply appreciated. Thank you for your time and looking forward to hearing from you.
I would like to meet as many locals as possible to get a sense of the regional cuisine, culture, customs and traditions. Especially would love to be hosted in small towns and villages.
I'm a teetotaller. I don't smoke or drink but I'm ok if others like it. I prefer to eat veg but can try meat.
If u host me:
I'm OK (I prefer) sleeping on floor with or without mattress or bed, a rug is perfect for me. Usually I travel whole day and arrive at my host place at night usually post-dinner to sleep. So it is totally fine if dinner is not offered to me. I'm also cool if the host doesn't show me around the city. I can understand work compulsions. I usually leave early morning before breakfast. I might stay just for a few hours not even a whole day if you happen to host me. My basic requirement is a place to sleep after a long tiring day travelling. There can be a few changes in the schedule depending on how I bond with the host. Although I'm flexible enough usually I don't change my travelling plan as I might have some other commitments.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Like to meet new people. Meet the locals and know more about the city and its culture. Share my travelling experiences and learn from others. Also according to some old timers CS is dead but it taught me how to live. CS community has always helped me find accommodation in a new city I just moved for work, also best place to eat, shop or socialise in the town.
