Interests

I read, read, and then read some more! I love animals and have a special interest in animal behavior, communication, and pet therapy. I enjoy watching my favorite TV shows (limited to couple hours a day). When I'm able, I love to volunteer working with those who are alone (especially those without family like myself. Did I mention I'm addicted to reading? I belong to Bookcrossing, enjoy going to movies or theatre, traveling when possible, and enjoy continuing to learn and grow, especially making new friends around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love so many different authors it's hard to pick just a few, but some current favorites would include Dean Koontz, Barbara Holland, Nevada Barr, Carl Hiassen, Kelley Armstrong.

I have eclectic taste in music, including everything from big band/swing to classical and clssic rock, big oldies (50s, 60s) fan, and loved the 80s music. Also enjoy current music, including *some* rap. Think Eminem is awesome. Also enjoy Celtic music, and various artists such as David Arkenstone, Enya, Katie Price, Enigma, Annie Lennox, Melissa Etheridge, Shakira, Coldplay, Weezer, Green Day, and many, many others.

I'm a film buff, and enjoy everything from comedy (not stupid, juvenile style though) to adventure, thrillers (no gore or too violent though -- violence off screen is okay, but not "in your face" type. I watch a lot of foreign films, and belong to Netflix where my queue is always overflowing.
