About Me

🇲🇾 Malaysian from KL | Traveler

When I'm free, I like to travel and seek new experiences. My life goal is to become a published author.

Is my life a comedy or a tragedy? Let's write it together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing to connect with locals and fellow travelers, share stories, and immerse myself in different cultures. It's a great way to make new friends and gain authentic experiences while exploring the world. Plus, it helps in finding travel tips and budget-friendly accommodation.

Interests

I'm a techie at heart. I love technology and enjoy playing around with new gadgets just like anyone else. But I also have a deep appreciation for art. Art allows humanity to explore realms beyond our reach, making the fusion of arts and technology my holy grail. This passion likely fuels my love for movies.

Movies provide a window to experience the lives and stories of others, which is incredible because stories are what make us, the human race, special. They're a way of sharing who we are with the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a deep love for music. While popular songs frequently find their way onto my playlist, there's a special place in my heart for the meticulous artistry of classical music. For me, the experience of a live band surpasses any studio recording, capturing the raw, unfiltered essence of music.

Movies are another passion of mine. Films that have left a lasting impression on me include Christopher Nolan's *Inception*, *The Perks of Being a Wallflower*, and *Shanghai Knight*. Each of these movies brings something unique, whether it's mind-bending narratives, emotional depth, or sheer entertainment.

When it comes to reading, my favorite book is *Hyperspace* by Michio Kaku. This book has profoundly opened up my mind, expanding my understanding of the universe and fueling my curiosity about the mysteries it holds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to be homeless, caught between jobs and unsure of my direction in life. One day, I made the decision to learn programming. It wasn't long before I realized I had a knack for computers. Motivated by this discovery, I delved deeper into learning more about technology. I began taking on freelancing projects, and a few years later, I transitioned into working as a professional. Looking back, I'm not sure where I would be if I hadn't picked up programming, but I am certainly proud that I did. It changed my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I can teach others about the intersection of technology and the arts. With my background in programming and a passion for creative expression, I can offer lessons on how digital tools can enhance artistic endeavors. Additionally, I can provide insights into the world of freelancing, including how to manage projects, interact with clients, and navigate the challenges of self-employment.

Learn:
I am always eager to learn more about emerging technologies and the latest advancements in software development. I'm particularly interested in how these innovations can be applied to solve real-world problems. I would also like to learn more about filmmaking and storytelling, to better understand how movies can vividly capture human experiences and emotions.

Share:
I can share my personal journey from being homeless to becoming a tech professional, which might inspire and motivate others facing similar challenges. By sharing my story, I can offer hope and practical advice on how to overcome adversity through education and persistence. Additionally, I can share my travel experiences, providing tips and insights on how to explore the world on a budget and connect with diverse cultures through Couchsurfing.

This cycle of teaching, learning, and sharing not only enhances my own life but also contributes to the growth and enrichment of others in my community and beyond.
