About Me

Hi, I'm Ralph. I'm a photographer and a creative director. I'm 55 years old and married to my wife Nora. We have three children Oscar (24), Luke (23) and Toni (17). Oscar is studying Design in Eindhoven, Netherlands, Luke is studying Art & Architecture while playing Collegiate Football at the University of Virgina in Charlottesville and Toni just finished High School.

I love sports and arts, culture and life, get togethers and friends and really love to meet new and interesting people from around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people, listen to their stories, make new friends and learn through them about the essence of life. Everybody has a great story and something to share that is of interest to everybody. Let's find out what that is. Diversity is what makes life great, so let's meet as many people as possible.

We have always had an open house to friends, family and everybody who is open minded, tolerant and looking for the essence of life through meeting new people and exploring different cultures. So please visit and share that great experience with us.

I always tried to teach this attitude to my kids. My oldest son Oscar (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/oscar-wentz-1) is on his work and travel year in Canada right now and I hope, that he finds as many open minded Couchsurfers as we like to have them at our house. He really understands the beauty of Couchsurfing and is a great guy to have around.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are so many books I have read an liked, so many songs I heard and valued, so many great movies I have seen, that I can't decide which one to name right here. Come to us and find out, if we share the same things or discuss why we differ in oppinion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Master life and grow three kids with my wife Nora. That is the biggest adventure you can engage in life. But I have done many other interesting things as well. Come and find out, what stories I have to tell.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always willing to learn new things, see them differently. That's why it is so important to stay open minded. Nothing is for certain and stays the way it is. Everything is changing and we need to know as much as possible about as many things as possible to keep up with it, or maybe to lead the art of change. I love to share my knowledge of life and everything I'm interested in with anybody who accepts that the world is united in one big challenge and that we should have fun accepting that challenge and work on progressing together.

Ofcourse I can teach you some German or tell you a lot about my profession as a creative. Especially photography or anything related to design, art and culture.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Everything I wrote above. Let's share our vision and make the world a better place. By the way I can cook too. Not three star dishes but true and tasteful ones combining European and asian influences.
