Hey there! I'm originally from Israel, lived in New York for about 12 years total, and now living and working in Japan. I've been teaching English at a university here since 2020 so i've had some time to learn the language and travel around. My place is only about an hour by train from most of the fun stuff in Tokyo and enjoys suburban quiet comforts. Depending on the time of year, I either have tons of free time to show you around or I'm super busy and might catch you on the weekend. I'm happy to introduce you to some of the lesser known gems of the Kanto area like shopping streets, izakaya, museums, hiking, and more!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm mostly here to try hosting people so I have interesting company to go walking around the city with me. I will probably try being a guest on my next vacation. Just looking to have fun!
