I've never surfed a couch, but I've hosted many travelers !!!

Learning to cook things, listening to Puccini, listening to other's life stories and travels, the ocean, nature, theater, and raising one's consciousness. When traveling...going off the beaten path. [ p.s. the truth is... I only know how to make spaghetti, and to bake a chicken ] : (
