I currently live in Belgrade or my hometown, Zrenjanin, with my mom. I haven’t been working since I came back to Serbia from China where I had a busy corporate job for 6 years.

I used to be quite active on Couchsurfing between 2008-2015 but then I moved to China where CS isn’t a big thing. Coming back to CS is one of my 2023 goals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To exchange, to provide shelter for CSers and squat someones' place.

I met a few amazing people thanks to CS. We maintain contact and meet each other from time to time. The world is a small place for good people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rode a motorcycle from Jogja to Surabaya(half of Java island) in a day.

Changed 5 hostels during a visit to Singapore.

Slept in Dayak house on Mahakam river in East Borneo.

Teach, Learn, Share

This exchange is the most important part of CS for me.
I can share stories about:

-Yugoslavia (one of the most beautiful countries in the world at the time being)
-Indonesia ... in particular East Java, Borneo, Bali, Lombok
-Zhejiang province/China
- Ancestry and my roots (my family name originates from Bosnia and my great-great-grandfather was a Chicago immigrant in 1910).

If you can teach me how to prepare some simple dish from your country or we can cook something together, I'd be happy.
Learning about your family tree is also interesting.
