There are two of us - over 50 :) Travelling is our passion. Ideally, we combine travel with our passion for sports. We hike in the mountains, ride a bike, love to explore other countries, their culture, nature, sights and of course people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about Couchsurfing from a friend of mine and immediately got excited about this way of travelling (a way of life, you could say).

Imagine Dragons, I think any great music of any genre appeals to me.
Books and films - definitely crime and especially Nordic ones. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the Nordic countries are a matter of the heart for me and I return to them repeatedly, although I prefer to visit places I haven't been to before. But my heart has clearly belonged to the North for many years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My best product - two (already grown ) children. I learned to ski at 45 , to be my son's partner- I had never really skied before. I was scared at that age, but I overcame that fear and now I enjoy skiing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm still trying to learn English. We had Russian and French at school, so I didn't start learning English until I was an adult and I don't use it at work, so really all that's left is learning and practice when I travel.)
