About Me

I'm a VW bus driving, acro yoga doing, travel loving photographer from Mesa, Arizona.

I'm always looking to explore new places, although that work thing keeps me home more than I'd like. I love meeting people from other places. I have made some great friends through Couchsurfing and have multiple travellers who have come to stay multiple times.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet interesting people and to increase how often I can travel by staying with interesting people for cheap, rather than spending too much money on corporate lodging just to sleep. Plus I like supporting others in their travel and learning about their adventures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I participate annually in a wintertime off road adventure in my vintage VW bus. The event is called the Shasta Snow Trip and involves 40+ split window buses (67 and older) driving through the back woods of Northern California through the mud, snow, and rivers, ending in the town of Mount Shasta City. www.shastasnowtrip.com

In 2019 I went to Europe with zero plan. We landed in Copenhagen and then explored 10 countries over 6 weeks, covering 10,000 KM (6500 miles). My only goal was to see new places and not have to be anywhere in particular at any certain time, so we accomplished that.

Teach, Learn, Share

Always happy to teach acro yoga or a bit about photography. I am always willing to learn new things of any sort.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you a bit of acroyoga, talk your ear off about Volkswagen buses, or let you use the wall of spices in our pantry if you want to cook up a little something while visiting.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland
