I am a part-time working stone sculptor, studied archeologist and currently student again (cultural heritage studies). Ah yes and I am a young father with two wonderfull childrens (Tore & Madita)... hm what else, I like to study, I like to do creative work and I definitely like to be a young father...
Maybe I´ll add more later, in the moment maybe I am too uninspired. But I am pretty sure, that I will be more inspired talking with visitors and host as my heart and mind is wide open, to learn every day a little bit more about life and living!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be directly honest, by the moment I really need a cheap accomodation possibility in Lisbon, because I have to do an obligatory exursion within my study course and this now is the last chance (as my study course is coming to an end): a official excursion to Lisbon with 10 other student fellows... well the problem is, that we have to pay all of the trip on our own, what is a lot for an averge german student, who has to earn his own money - and feed two hungry cildren ;) - so couchsurfing came to my mind, as I´ve been on this platform some years ago, when I lived in Berlin and hosted often people from abroad. But not only in berlin as a host I could benefit from that kind of international exchange, also as a traveler I really appreciate the possibility to get in touch with diverse cultures, mentalities and human beings!
Therefore sleeping on a couch somewhere at portugals capital, gives me the opportunity not only to decrease travel-costs, but to enrich my overall excursion-experience...
