I'm a Mexican girl living in Madrid, Spain at the moment. I'm a very friendly person that loves to meet new people, I love to know new cultures and learn new words or expressions from others countries.

I really like to smile and laugh because I've heard that this is the best remedy to cure stress and bad mood. I try to stay positive in body and mind so that's why I prefer to take the problems away, some people say I'm very optimistic and I can blame them when I always try to look for a solution.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I knew about CS back in 2007 from a very good Argentinian friend but I decided to join the project until 2009 for good, at that moment I moved to Mexico City and it was difficult to make friends until my friend Bely told me -"you need to join CS, you can't be by yourself in that huge city"- and here I am. After so many years I still enjoy to be here.

This site has extended my vision in a way too far...It's not only for travelers, this site is made for people who like to know culture from around the world even though they have not traveled at all. My experience started knowing people in the same city and afterwards started to use the site to find couch.

Interests

READING. I really like to read, I prefer to read novels where you can find happy endings, romance or self improvement. A like stories that gives you something to learn from but I'm not close and if you have a good book please share it with me. MOVIES. I really like to attend to the movie theater but I enjoy as well to watch movies at home. As I have worked for the movie industry in Mexico I know who it works and I know there's a lot of work that people don't noticed but I assure you it's not only the movie you are watching at the movies or at you home, there's much more than that.
FRIENDS. I love to hang out with friends... I really like to share special moments with special people. Always trying to meet new people but who is already my friend I try to take care of them.
DANCE. One of my favorite things to do is to dance. As long as I can move the body I'm happy. I've been in salsa, cumbia, bachata, bellydance lessons. I really like to learn new moves and steps.

Music, Movies, and Books

MOVIES. Favorite movie that I can't be tired to watch so many times is FLASHDANCE, what can I say? I'm a retro person that loves the 80's, 90's. Also i like: Lord of the rings 1, 2, 3. Gone with the wind. The Twilight Saga, Back to the future, Dirty Dancing, Midnight in Paris. So many good movies I like, I love to watch movies even though if they're real bad.
MUSIC. I'm a person who listen to all kind of music, from classical/smooth to electro/loud music. I love to dance so I can dance almost everything or at least I try. Salsa, Cumbia, Bachata, Merengue, Banda, pasito duranguense, HIP-HOP.I like also this music from Africa, Caribbean islands with drums. love it!
BOOKS. As I said before I love to read. So if you have any good book that you'd like to share, please feel free for borrowing me, I promise I'll return it back as soon as I finish.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I have seen is changes of seasons from winter to spring. I got in love with the transition.
I'm from Mexico and I had never seen seasons changes. It was amazing technically everything re-born again.
