About Me
Hey Surfers!
I am glad to see such a big community here. It means that the positive worth of hospitality and kindness never gets old. Amazing!
Actually, I was always a quite passive member, signed in, but didn't truly recognize the woth and possibilities of the platform. I appreciate to get to know even one passage of the book you are writing with your life. Cause everyone comes and goes with his own story and it will always look different for whoever is looking.
So in the following I give you a blink of myself. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It feels like ages ago that I signed up here. Originally I found the idea amazing to travel to places, stay for free and exchange ideas, culture, learn and practice tolerance and explore the beauty of languages and diversity. (and I still do!) But nowadays it is even more valuable in terms of sustainable travelling. Unfortunately, there is some issues with airbnb for example, that locals in touristically attractive places don't get housing anymore. Simply because tourists are preferred. I used the platform, too. But now I think its better to change the way of doing things :)
Interests
I l o v e swimming, surfing and the ocean. Nature and animals in general, because everything seems to be made going perfectly together. Nature is the most impressive architect.
Also I l consider music being a major part in my life. It makes me enjoy it more, connects people and makes you feel understood, which is rare, because many people nowadays don't take the time to listen.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music gusto depends on how I feel. For the everyday subwayride rnb and soul would be my choice. But sometimes there might intrude some Brahms symphony :) or a good old Bossa Nova title on a sunny morning.
favorite book: Le petit prince
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Mostly, not the big things mean to be amazing. It's the little ones. The smile on your mum's face, when she sees the flowers you picked in the (neighbours) garden for her.
The picnic you have spontaneously with your friends at the beach.
The rainbow you show a little kid playing with his parents' phone.
Or the good talk you have with a person you recently got to know.
All those are things making life worth it and it's not necessary to be jealous of other peoples lives, because they have a new car, house or phone. Just treat yourself as a really good friend.
If you trust yourself you can always renew your energy and spread it to others.
