About Me

Hello, my name is Salvador Mendoza. I was born in Mexico. I lived in different states when I was a child. When I was 19, I immigrated to United States. Learning English was an enormous challenge, but it is really worth it. Now, I work and study part time. Trying to reach my bachelor degree in the next years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that any adventure starts with the first step, and being on Couchsurfing will be my path to find new places, new cultures and of course, new friendships.

Any type of help to make a reality my dreams as traveler, will be really appreciated.

Interests

Life, culture, nature, friendships and technology. I believe that there is a connection between us somehow. Our souls are like wild horses in the middle of night trying to find unknown places. I am just a breath in this life, and I wanna take it so deeply.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Mexican music: regional and romantic. I enjoy dancing and singing while people look at me like I am an error.

Salsa, bachata and cumbia made fell in love my strong heart. Their sounds and movements are unique and very sensuals.

Oldies are the best many people say. I love the Beatles, John Lennon, James Brown...

Even when I see Hollywood movies, I like to enjoy different films from other countries. Because everything is culture, I try to appreciate the big picture before I get a conclusion.

I like to read philosophy, technology and adventure literature. Not trying to narrow my mind in just one ideology. In the same way, I might enjoy Cabral, or I may enjoy Descartes trying to persuade me about his unconventional meditations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Machu Picchu found me. I dreamed with Peru, and its beauties amazed me. One amazing thing that I will remember the rest of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn and listen experiences about different countries, stories about people and culture.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My experiences, energy and abilities to pilot drones :D! Salsa dance skills.
