HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently living in a village near Nyahururu. I'm doing economic research with dairy farmers. In my spare time, I dream about shearing sheep carding the fleece into wool, and knitting a nice hat :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This community means a lot to me, and I have made great friends through both hosting and surfing. You just never know who you will meet who will change your life.

Interessen

Like everyone on this site, I'm into traveling. But I also am always talking to strangers and meeting people in my daily life. We all have so much to learn from one another.

Besides that I like: biking, cooking, running, lifting weights, doing DIY projects, writing, reading good writing, discovering new music, dancing all night long, having adventures, climbing mountains / rocks / walls in the gym, swimming naked...and about a million other things.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Backpacked cross country on my own when I was 19 years old. Hitchhiked through 30 countries, mostly solo, at age 22. Ran a half marathon with the best of them in Eldoret, Kenya (I was dead last :/ )

Got chased by a fox in the Yukon while wild camping with just a tarp. Climbed Kilimanjaro. Played catch with dogs trained to sniff drugs and bombs in the mountains of Snowdonia, Wales. Built seven small-scale irrigation systems in rural Uganda. Crashed an artist retreat on Inis Oir, off the west coast of Ireland...

...And many, many more! What a time to be alive.
