ABOUT ME

We are a couple of travelers. Sara is Italian and Jose is Spanish. We love learning new things and meeting new people as much as we can. We met 15 years ago in Spain and we are living together in Madrid. We talk about our big passion in our travel blog saltaconmigo.com. "Salta Conmigo" means "jump with me" in Spanish, as JAAC (Jose) uses to jump in front of the most recognizable places we visit.

We don't have a place to host (out apartment is very small) but we will be very pleased to meet new people and to show them Madrid!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We lived the trip of our lives (2013-2014): a trip around Latin America without return ticket and the CS was a fundamental part of it. Traveling with no rush let you know people and talk with them with calm and the CS helped to have longer and more pleasant conversations. We "surfed" in Buenos Aires, Posadas and Puerto Iguazú, in Argentina, in Montevideo, Uruguay, and many places in Brazil, from Curitiba to Salvador, Colombia and Perú during this trip.
Before we had done it in Brisbane (Australia): our first experience.

Vivimos el viaje de nuestra vida (2013-2014): un viaje por Latinoamérica sin fecha de vuelta y el CS fue parte fundamental de él. Viajar sin prisas permite conocer a la gente y charlar con ellos con más tranquilidad y el CS ayuda más aún a que las conversaciones sean más largas y agradables.
Fuimos surfers en Buenos Aires, Posadas y Puerto Iguazú, en Argentina, en Montevideo, Uruguay, y muchos otros lugares en Brasil, desde Curitiba hasta Salvador, en Bogotá, Colombia y en Lima, Perú, en ese viaje.
Antes lo habíamos sido en Brisbane (Australia) nuestra primera experiencia.

- Seeing a tiger in a Natural Reserve in India or a shark inside a cage in South Africa
- Being astonished by the sunrise in Machu Pichu, Perú or the sunset in the Serengeti park in Tanzania
