Interests

I love new adventures. I hike, write, and paint. I love being introduced to new music and new foods (maybe those shouldn't go in the same sentence, but you get the idea, I like new stuff!).

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Labyrinth, Mirrormask, Coraline (are you sensing a theme?)...but really anything, I'm big on dem movies.
Music: Bowie! and a ton of other stuff. I'm pretty open musically.
Books: Bukowski, Kerouac, Miller, Dostoevsky...then on the lighter side Kim Harrison, Laurel K. Hamilton, Robert Jordan...the list goes on and on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) The Grand Canyon (duh)
2) Once while hiking I ran into a bunch of wild looking horses (though I'm sure they were owned). I held out a piece of granola bar in my hand and they all completely surrounded me. They were so friendly and gentle (and I friggin love horses). The moment has simply always stuck in my mind.
3) Seeing the big ol' crocodiles in Costa Rica...really, really close.
