About Me

Hey everyone! I'm currently a nomad.. moved out of my place in Sacramento and just roaming about. Once I find a spot Ill change my hosting status!

I constantly stare at a map, look up plane tickets, planning my next trip.

Always dreaming of where to go next, travel the world - not the places, the people, the culture, their world, their home, our adventures :)

ABOUT ME

I'm sarcastic, witty, always happy, full of energy, some people say I'm funny, you can be the judge of that.

I love to go out explore, see new things, meet new people, talk to strangers, have a cocktail, craft beer, lay in a park, do nothing, do everything, no plans and a ton of plans all at the same time. I just like the freedom to do whatever it is you want to do and love that I have the ability to do it.. Not all the time, I haven't yet conquered my goal of being a nomad, but I'm getting as close as I can.

PHILOSOPHY

LOVE MORE - WORRY LESS

Live life to the fullest, don't let people get you down, ditch the negativity and enjoy each waking moment. Dont just dream it.. live it. Its your life, write the book and be the main character of an amazing legacy.

Don't bore me with your always serious, can't take a break, hate humor lifestyle! Don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with serious people, that's fine.. if your negative though we won't get along.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Getting out to events, surfing, and starting to host. It feels so much better to give than to receive :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've been to multiple CS events (amazing) and surfed (with the most spectacular people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting). Ive hosted a few people.. hoping to host more loved the experience to share my home with them.

Interests

I'm a huge foodie, I workout from time to time (when I have time, when I'm motivated, when I don't have anything else better to do, when my friends are tired of rolling me around, when hell freezes over, or when I have a moment of insanity and hit the weights) - I just started training for a fitness competition, we'll see how that goes. I love love love photography, meeting up and living in the moment.

Did I mention I love photography? if I'm out of the house chances are I probably have my camera, or at least my phone.. it works just the same right?! I want to build my portfolio so if anyone wants to meet up and for a photo shoot let me know!!!

Random adventures, getting lost, taking the path less traveled, sports, relaxing, drinking a cocktail or two, pretending to know how to dance, art (looking at it, I can't paint to save my life), learning new cultures, reading and exploring in general.

Seeking out things I've never done before and then doing it twice.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and have a very eclectic standpoint on it. My musical likes range from pop, rap, reggae, edm, rock, country (in small doses).. just about anything really.

Movies and tv? I have my favorite shows but I'd rather be socializing then watching them. I usually reserve that for when my body revolts after I've been going none stop and it decides its either chillout/sleep/or die. I thank Netflix for being there during those times!

I'm s l o w l y getting thru my list of books to read.. Not proud of that but not ashamed either! So judge as you please :) *currently reading slaughterhouse five*

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing the stairway of heaven in Hawaii, on my birthday - I've never seen a more beautiful sunrise.

Deep Sea fishing in Diego Garcia.

Being held hostage in a restaurant in Japan - not violently held, just not allowed to leave.. short story :)

Hiking on a Glacier in Alaska.

An unplanned "accidental" trip to Matchu Pichu.

Watching the world cup in Spain, the year Spain won.. and then celebrating for a whole two weeks afterwards in some little town near the beach.

Flying over the great barrier reef for hours, holding a koala and petting a kangaroo.

Um, this was way more than one but why limit yourself?

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach what people never knew they wanted to know.
Sounds a lot more complicated than it is, I'm not sure I've mastered my philosophy but I'm working on it.

I love learning, exploring, sharing and just completely submerging myself into another persons culture or lifestyle, no matter how different it may be from mine!

Open up, take a chance, say yes more often!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my experiences, love of people and different cultures. Maybe some good conversation, a beer or cocktail, my awesome (but not really) dance moves, and a great time together.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Panama, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Scotland, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Thailand
