About Me

CURRENT MISSION

slow lifestyle and eco-sustainability

ABOUT ME

Very hard to describe myself :)
I'm vegetarian . I love animals and a sustainable way of living that respects nature and other people.
I'm ironic and I like people with irony and sense of humor, but I also enjoy loneliness and quiet. I'm very independent. I like to listen to stories and different points of view, I love to chat about books, travels, movies and..life.

I work around Modena with refugees and asylum seekers.

I'm one of the authors for a radio program in Bologna about gender issues called "Frequenze di Genere" on Radio città Fujiko.

PHILOSOPHY

autarchy!
feminism
work less and live more and better
respect all forms of life
travel as much as you can
think global live local

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm very new in this special community. I can just try to do my best to make people comfortable at my home, with some experimental cooking and nice talking. I adore listening to other people's experiences and way of living.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Torino, Marsala, Hamburg, Iran with some friends "senior" couchsurfers.
I think this way of traveling is very simple and "ancient" (it brings us back to our roots about hospitality, that we often forget because of travel agencies or whatever) and revolutionary at the same time. It's also a good example how technology can be used in a smart way to connect people, and it's a great chance to live as a local in every place you visit.

Interests

I love: cooking "esotic" food, hiking, eating everything (vegetarian) prepared with love, cyclotraveling, having dinner with friends, doing eco-sustainable actions, listen to new music, discovering a special unknown movie, knitting, cultivate with devotion (but not great outcomes!) my small balcony garden, swimming, running, yoga, looking at the sunset in silence, slow traveling, self-production, aperitives, small concerts and good homemade beer, river swimming, photography.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to knit a scarf, how to cook a vegan pie, how to socialize with a sourdough. I can tell you even how to create a radio program, why the gender issue in Italy is so important and other things about immigration politics in Italy and Europe. We can also dance some lindy hop (very beginner level for the moment!). I can show you that also in the countryside there are very special and authentic places, and sometimes very interesting events, you can't imagine!

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, India, Iran, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Syrian Arab Republic, Viet Nam
