About Me

CURRENT MISSION

love everyone. then take photos of them.

ABOUT ME

Nomadic Australian who seems to often be on the move!
Since 2006 I have been changing locations and working and studying in the mean time.
Until the end of 2013 I was living in New York where I studied photography.
And since then I have been based in Lyon, France. Mostly eating cheese! ha ha.

Overall I would say that I am pretty easygoing and relaxed.
I love good conversation and just really love speaking to people about life, pretty corny huh? But I am always up for a bit of a debate too! I have been known to keep arguing my point well after my opposition has left the room.
But seriously I like to be open to all kinds of people and cultures and I am pretty lucky to have been able to meet the people I have so far in my life.

PHILOSOPHY

Dance as if no one is watching,
Sing as if no one is listening
And live every day as my last.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I experienced couch surfing for the first time in Canada. From there I had experiences through my travels, and then when I came back to Melbourne I really enjoyed being involved in my home town.
In my apartment in NYC we hosted many surfers over the course of about 3 years.
It is so great to meet people who are coming to where you know best and they just want to know all about it.

Interests

I obviously love to travel, as does anyone else who is on this website!
MUSIC! All kinds of music. It's all beautiful.
I am interested in all kinds of art, from theatre for painting.
Photography is also a big part of me and I love it and can't wait to learn more about it.
Writing is something I have also done quite a bit. I studied journalism at University but tend to write all kinds of nonsense. Usually just to entertain myself.
I love to snowboard, unfortunately I live in Australia.
Love to sail, but haven't done it in so long!

Being on top of the world when I lived in a trailer at Castle Mountain in Canada. We were in the middle of nowhere but we lived in our own little world for 7 months.

I once got completely lost in the mountains after a terrible train trip in Romania, a scary experience but it was Autumn, possible the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
