I'm planning a trip to Taiwan, so I won't be able to host after mid-April.

I’ve started using a new account to remain active in Kyoto. Prior to this, I have hosted nearly 40 guests from different countries on couchsurfing. So, feel free to apply to stay at my place.

I live in Kyoto now. Welcome to Kyoto. Kyoto has many fun activities. For example, you can visit Fushimi Inari Taisha, visit temples such as Kiyomizudera and Kinkakuji, visit Gion, and visit shrines. Kyoto is also famous for its food, and you can enjoy sushi, ramen, and okonomiyaki.🍜
If you like outdoor activities, it would be nice to go to Arashiyama, Kurama, Amanohashidate and other places rich in nature. You can have a picnic or take a walk in nature. You can also go see cherry blossoms in spring. Kyoto has many cherry blossom viewing spots.

Kyoto is not suitable for traveling at the end of July and throughout August. The temperature during this time is extremely hot, which significantly reduces the travel experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the past, during my travels in Taiwan, I had my first experience as a traveler using Couchsurfing, which was a very cherished travel experience for me. Now that I have independent accommodation, I hope to host more people.

After the pandemic, the average prices of hotels in Kyoto have increased by approximately tenfold, and the Kyoto government has imposed additional accommodation taxes on this. I hope to help travelers interested in Kyoto or the Kansai region save some expenses.

Many of the people I have hosted have become my friends. I often keep in touch with them even after they return home.

I am also very interested in language learning. If you speak any language other than English, such as German, Finnish, or Cantonese, I would like to learn some everyday phrases from you and perhaps host for a longer period.

過去我在台灣旅行的時候第一次作為traveler使用couchsurfing，是我非常珍貴的旅行體驗。現在我有獨立住宿的環境，希望能接待更多人。
疫情結束後京都的酒店平均價格比從前上漲了大概10倍，同時京都政府在此基礎上收取額外的住宿稅。希望能讓對京都或者關西圈有興趣的旅行者節約一些支出。

meine erste Erfahrung als Reisender mit Couchsurfing während meiner Reise in Taiwan war äußerst wertvoll für mich. Jetzt habe ich eine unabhängige Unterkunft und hoffe, mehr Menschen willkommen zu heißen.
Nach dem Ende der Pandemie stiegen die durchschnittlichen Hotelpreise in Kyoto um etwa das Zehnfache, und die Regierung erhebt zusätzliche Übernachtungssteuern. Ich hoffe, dass interessierte Reisende in der Kyoto- oder Kansai-Region dadurch einige Ausgaben sparen können.
Viele der Personen, die ich bisher beherbergt habe, sind zu meinen Freunden geworden. Wir bleiben auch nach ihrer Abreise regelmäßig in Kontakt.
