CURRENT MISSION

Flying from my confort zone...to the best version of me.

Today, our world shows a lack of love, kindness and tolerance but I believe in people and I always try to find the best version of everybody by sharing mine. As a special education teacher I believe in people and I always try to make my students more confident and value themselfs because they are amazing. I DO believe feelings and emotions are really important and that they can change everything for good or bad, we just have to work on them and manage them to show the world the best of us.
My current mission? To spread the world how amazing we could be and how many good things we can do together.

ABOUT ME

I'm a special education teacher in a Primary school. I'm a quiet person, curious, friendly, sociable and a little shy (although I'm getting more confident and better at that).
I like helping people, spending time with my family and people I love. I like learning new things and explore places, food and adventures.
My life changed the day I decided to jump from my confort zone (my family, friends, my little town). Since then, I started to be more confident and I realized how much time I missed feeling insecure and simple. Having to life abroad by myself in another country in a different continent has made me grow mentally and spiritually. I am a better version of me and I'm still growing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To travel and meet people around the world not just only because of the place but because of their culture and the way they are. I believe a culture and a country is made by people and I love knowing new people ad grow my spirit.
Once the new version of me grows more and gets more experienced I will give all kindness and love received with this experience and I will do the same with my future place.

Interests

I like travelling and meeting people from other countries. Know other cultures and wonderful places. I like going out with friends, reading books, watch tv series, history and the knowledge in general.

I'm an enthusiast on photography ( I really like taking photos about all things that make me feel something, good or bad...but something!)I also like outdoor activities, nature is amazing and I tried to take car of it as much as I can.
My favourite sport though is laughing!

I'm in love with nature and all that involves it!

Music, Movies, and Books

I don´t have a favorite kind of music, I just like songs and the way they make me feel. Sometimes they may remind me about people or moments, some others they could just leave my mind free. My playlist is made of those songs that I have heard once and they make me feel something, if they don´t make me feel something they are not in my list.

Something similar happens with movies and books. I like reading science-fiction books or movies but also historical ones. So there´s a variety of books and movies that I like!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Swimming in the Adriatic sea during the sunset.
- Kayaking in an awesome lake in Bled.
- Dancing "Swing" in a restaurant in Berlin.
- Enjoying the views in the Grand Canyon next to a wedding.
- Walking through the Antelope Canyon.
- Crossing the Golden Gate bridge in a bicycle.
- Kayaking along Napali Coast accompanied by dolphins and turtles.
- Snorkeling in Ke'e beach, Hawaii.
- Bioluminiscent bay in Culebra, Puerto Rico.
- Rodeo in Texas.
- Seeing humpback whales while fishing and singing in Alaska.
- Eating sushi in the Arctic pole.
- Walking among sequoias.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a teacher I love teaching my students but on the other side I love learning new things. Couchsurfing is one of the best ways to learn people and the way they live. I love it!
