Born and raised in Beijing, China🇨🇳. Lived and worked as a Mandarin teacher in 🇺🇸 Georgia, Chicago, Orange County and the Bay Area. Now I’m working online and temporarily based in Chicago.

I enjoy meeting new people with diverse cultural backgrounds and making meaningful connections. I enjoy cooking and eating food from every part of the world. I also like hiking, working out, and running, so that I can burn more calories to eat more food. :-) I become more and more minimalistic as I travel more.

I’m open-minded, curious, genuine, and independent. I usually try to spend minimum time visiting all the touristy spots. Then I’d love to simply explore the less touristy area to experience the real locals’ life and cuisine. I travel for food. I’m passionate to try all kinds of authentic local food🍽, and curious to learn about different cultures.

Love to make connections with locals and fellow travelers around the world. I’ve met so many amazing human beings through CS. The people that I’ve met along the way sometimes take me to a different, unknown, but exciting path in my life. It’s been such an eye-opening experience using CS.

But the ones that I enjoyed watching are: Friends, Black Mirror, Stranger Things, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Narcos, Ozark, Money Heist, Game of Thrones, The Handmaid's Tale, Big Little Lies, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Schitt's Creek. Also love to watch food shows and documentary about food and health.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Quit my job in 2018 and solo traveled on and off for almost a year backpacking.
2. Lived and traveled in Mexico for 5 months in 2022.
