My name is Simon, i'm 18 years old and i come from Belgium. I just finished high school and i wanted to travel to escape the boring life 😂

So I'm doing a trip of 8 months around Europe (14 countries). I do everything by hitchhicking and couchsurfing cause i love to meet people.

I started the 25 august and I am so exited to discover the world and meet you 😁🫶🏻🇧🇪

Also i'm a huge cat lover. My cat's name is "CrocS" (yes with a big "S") and i can say that she saved my life when i was in a hard moment in my life 🐈❤️

I will always be grateful to my cat even if I miss him during this trip 🥲

So yes, i hope you understand that i'm a animal lover and it's a good things if you have one at home 😆

It would be a pleasure to make some arm wrestling with you 😆 But also cooking together, walking together, visiting the city together, doing sport together, going in a bar together, and a lot of other things who finish with "together" 🤝

Life is a piece of art and i want to learn E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G 🌐

⚠️⚠️⚠️ Be careful, I'm young, I worked 1 year in a restaurant and 5 months in a supermarket to pay for my trip without help from my parents, so my budget is very limited !!! So I do not want to take advantage of your kindness in any way, but I prefer to warn you that I cannot spend a lot of money (restaurant, museum, etc.) So I prefer simple things ;) ⚠️⚠️⚠️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and I sincerely think that the best way to travel is to meet people, it's the best way to learn and teach. This is what I call: “social evolution”. We cannot develop mentally without others. And also traveling alone is sometimes boring ^^

Interests

I really like doing sports! I will say that this is the main thing! I love all sports and do them whenever I get the chance. I'm also a fan of arm wrestling!! However, I like to talk about scientific, futuristic, psychology, artistic, cinematographic, geographical, historical subjects and all other interesting subjects. In fact, what I like most is discovering!!! I like to be surprised by life and by people and learn about topics and opinions that I had never thought of.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

• I walked during 11 hours all the night (41km between 6pm and 5am) in Gdansk and i finally slept in a church

• I made arm wrestling with the world champion

•Slept in a Ukranish Refugee

• I went 1 months in Chicago
