About Me

I work part-time as an English teacher; I've sometimes travelled on my own, but most of the time with other people, usually no more than 2 including myself; I've tried another organization similar to couchsurfing and had very positive experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always like travelling, and more recently I've discovered I find getting to know natives and visiting places with them, even more interesting. I like to see how they live, their habits, traditions, etc.

Interests

I like travelling, learning and speaking foreing languages, animals (dogs in particular), reading, cycling, going to the cinema, exhibitions, modern dance and I'm trying to go vegan.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not an expert in music, but I like listening to jazz and classical music, in case of nostalgia: rock and 80'disco music. Movies: art movies in general, directors as W. Allen, British and French social realism, some Italian directors (Virzì, Moretti, Garrone). Books: novels, mainly psychological dramas

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm going to tell you when we meet

Teach, Learn, Share

A part from English and organizing journeys, I don't think there are other things I can say I'm able to teach, but I'm very curious, so I'm probably better at learning!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A double sofa bed in the studio and a bathroom (not to share), use of the kitchen, the garden. I can take people around when I don't work, give turist info about the area I live in. I would appreciate if guests have their own sleeping-bags and if they can cook something special ... or not (special)
Here an article about Ivrea from my favourite UK newspaper:
