ABOUT ME

My name is Sjoerd and I made my first big trip from December 2013 until August 2014. In those 8 months I travelled South America.

I saved up the past two years and going back out there, I'll start with the Olympic Games in Rio and then go up to Central America. Afterwards the US and Asia.

I travel low budget so therefore I signed up for couchsurfing! But more importantly I love to hang out with locals. I speak Dutch, English, German and Spanish. I like to meet new people and learn about their culture.

PHILOSOPHY

Travelled in extreme countries; Russia, Kazakhstan (-40 celcius!), Thailand, Ethiopia, Japan, South-Korea, almost all of Europe.

Have done judo and also some local wrestling sports in those countries. Sport unites people from all countries & religions.
