ABOUT ME
I live on a boat on the Thames in London - Unfortunately space is very tight and I'm not able to host people at the moment. This may change in the future! I work in the NHS and am in a 'proper' job finally with less opportunity to travel than I had before.

I love being outside, swimming, running, biking, and finding new places. I am a someone who is happy to visit a city and see none of the 'main' sites but just spend time absorbing atmosphere. I like seeing art, and am bit of a history geek I'm strongly Left leaning politically.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a Buddhist, generally believe that every stranger is 'just a friend you haven't met yet', and believe that saying YES is always the best thing to do.

I have been to stay with a few people and met people for coffee. I'm not able to host at the moment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS events, meeting people for coffee and surfing on couches, not been a host yet.

The novels 'Home' and 'Lila' by Marilynne Robinson- amazing.
Movies - 'run lola run'; 'we are the best!'; Secrets and Lies; 'Belleville Rendez-vous'; Music: not obsessed about anything at the moment.. but love electronic music as well as old time country/ bluegrass.

I swam three days down the Thames river camping on Islands.
