About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn from others so I can be a wise man one day ;)

ABOUT ME

I consider myself:

- social/open
- non-conventional/free spirit
- kind/helpfull

PHILOSOPHY

We live for eachother, not for ourselves.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think I am a generous and easy-going person, interested in about everything and everyone. Couchsurfing fits that very well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted some people already. It's nice to provide a cosy place to stay for travellers. It was always great when I travelled to meet local people with a mind of hospitality and openness to foreigners. I want to provide the same memorable experience to people visiting my own country.

Interests

- playing music (I don't excel in any instrument, but I play many)
- learning about different lifestyles/cultures
- all sorts of (bord)games
- nature and animals

  • animals
  • music
  • anthropology
  • travel
  • games

Music, Movies, and Books

- Music: Afro-beat, Congolese Rumba, Cuban Salsa, Rock, Funk, Folk, Classical music, Jazz, Blues,...

- I'm a big comic books lover! Used to draw some myself when I was a child.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- For a full year I raised guinnea-pigs in Ecuador to sell them as meat on the local market, which was an interesting experience.

- 1 year of teaching in a small primary school in Nigeria and living in a Nigerian family made me to who I am today.

- My family has always been of crucial importance to me at any moment of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

It has been a great privilege to have seen so much of the world so far and having met so many different people, each with their own stories, vision and experiences. I could talk about it for hours... .

I want to learn about everything I don't know much about, with the only exception being digital stuff. I don't have a smartphone, facebook, instagram,... and I don't want it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you some drumming when you are here!
No, actually, I WILL teach you some drumming. It's my couchsurf project: to learn all CS'ers how to play the drum ;-)
