About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Acting on every impulse

ABOUT ME

I endeavor at all times to encourage people to be free! Be wild.
Be you.
Watch the world reward you for taking the risk.

I embrace a minimalist, experience rich lifestyle.
I eat greens.
I seek connection.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not interested in traveling, I'm interested in LIVING.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm old school, from the days where couchsurfing was about meeting unusual people and having conversations you couldn't have with strangers... it wasn't about being too cheap to spend $30 on a hostel.

So if you're going to request to stay with me, I expect more than a message saying your name and your itinerary. Tell me why you want to stay with ME.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love everyone who has allowed me the privilege of sharing their space and learning their story.

I have met the best kinds of people through this stupid site, through this simple concept...of opening yourself up to connecting with strangers from strange lands.

Interests

I have learned that my life is not lived by the things in it, by that which I am working on, by that which I plan to do, by that which I have done...It's lived through connections. It's lived through people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Into the Wild solidified a few inklings in my mind.

Daniel Champagne the genius guitarist is the reason I missed home.

Sitting in a dark pan yard under an avocado tree listening to Boogsie Sharpe's steel pan orchestra in Trinidad...no better place to spend your nights.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drifting along in the crackling silence on the great barrier reef, a shadow looming in the blue distance..a sea turtle strokes my way. Such iridescent stripes! Such a beautiful, slow, silent wonder.

Sheltering from a monsoonal downpour under the eaves of a church on the Upper West Side late one summer night, a beautiful man, refusing to leave me umbrella-less..making his way home saturated so that I could get home warm and dry. The best kind of people, they don't ask for anything from you, they only give.
