ABOUT ME

Kathy, my wife, and I are (were) both teachers. I used teach college level chemistry, and she teaches elementary school math. I now work in the data analytics field. We enjoy meeting new people, hearing stories, and building relationships. We love to learn, so if you have something to teach (which you do!), please share.

We have a 9 year old and she is well on her way to being an avid outdoors woman.

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed quite a bit during my travels, and for the first time in 2018, we surfed together as a family. We have hosted some and enjoyed learning and sharing with our guests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed with many people in my travels over the past years. This has changed traveling for me and opened doors to experience the perspective of a place from the local's point of view. We have surfed a handful of times as a family and absolutely loved it!

Interests

We love...the outdoors, coffee, guitar, live music, reading, sharing experiences with others, hearing stories from others. We try to spend as much time as we can outside.
