I grew up in Northern New Jersey and worked at my father's retail appliance store, where I worked on a delivery truck and installed air conditioners and major home appliances. I have lived in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and California.

I am a father of 4 children and have now lived in California for most of my life.
