About Me

CURRENT MISSION:

From December 6th til ___??___ An open ended quest. Getting lost in the world. Taking time to do the things we never had. ( Yes, that *is* a Toto reference ) The Love of my Life and myself are putting our traditional working worlds on hold and immersing ourselves in this beautiful planet. Feel the soul of a culture. Place ourselves far outside from the places we know. Make mistakes, and not die. We are open to whatever comes our way, but damn I miss my dog.

If you want some snippets of insight into who we are and/or our travels... the instagram handles are as follows: @boxeclectic for Steven, and @ceruleangravity for Meredith

ABOUT ME:

One whom frolics, and generally accompanied by a German Shepard. I have a elegantly disheveled hairstyle and mannerisms that follow suit. I am far more animated in person, appreciate that each individual has a life just as vivid as my own. The impact we can leave on each other is what makes life worthwhile, and documents our existence as human beings.

PHILOSOPHY:

Love and Kindness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am here to make new friends that will always be there. To connect and share the human experience. I am open to participate in whatever comes this way in the world. To be student, and teacher.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have a few years experience here now, and it is my first thought on any adventure. Every road trip, whether it ends up at an Air b&b, hostel or a surf, is far more vibrant than some sterile, predictable hotel. Alas, Couch surfing is above them all. Because you make a new friend with the fundamental same spirit for life, that believes the world can be that much more open. While backpacking in the Caribbean, wandering the desert of Death Valley, driving across country, Couch Surfing was yet another resource to find truly awesome locals that share their culture. There is not better connection to make friends for life than right here. The world just feels that much more integrated.

For hosting, I wish I had more experiences, though I live in the woods and far away from most of society like Henry David Thoreau ( and, not too far from his abode ) So, it appears CS requests don't come out my way because I am not located near any of the particular things one would fancy in New England.

My brother and I had a fantastic gentleman from Australia, and he ended up staying for a month and working with us. It was awesome, and I consider him one of my dearest friends. I praise Couch surfing for the beautiful way to connect with others while changing your scenery, this planet offers infinite experiences for our lifetime.

Music, Movies, and Books

This could go on far too long... perhaps shared in conversation?

Teach, Learn, Share

I could ramble on to you about music, and how I create it, listen to it, indulge in it. Maybe a thing or two about my experiences with sustainability, photography and art as well, my other passions. We could perchance talk to no end of the world we inhabit. Time and space. Rare Pokemon. How artificial intelligence is on the rise and writing the code at Tesla is diminishing my career. We all have skills, we all have knowledge, and the way these things can be transitioned from one to another is just plain awesome. Education is everything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share what I have learned in my life, and perhaps inspire a new skill or interest.

Steven- Will take photographs for you

Meredith - Will teach you all the yoga
