About Me

Born and brought up in Mumbai, I am a global equity trader by profession and have an engineering degree in Electronics & Telecommunication. I love to travel and whenever the opportunity presents itself, I try and invest / trade in countries where my travels take me.

I travel not only for luxury but to exercise my mind and body, To help me make better decisions.

I love going on day hikes ! I love nature and the outdoors. More
Of a morning person than a night owl.

If I am not in a position to host you, I would love to show you around south mumbai to get a taste and feel of the city.

I would say I'm 75 % practical 25 % emotional.
I like to hope for the best but prepare for the worst. I'm the kind of person who would buckle his seatbelt on the backseat. Not because I'm afraid, but because I'm cautious.

People sometimes say I look younger than my age suggests. The People who I look up to most in my life.
1. My Father ( I have been and continue to be very fortunate to learn a lot from him)
2. Michael Schumacher ( for his never give up attitude )
3. Bear grylls ( for being a nature lover and fellow Gemini )

Weekends I spend mostly dining at restaurants, movies, go Karting , brunches, karaoke outings sometimes.

Not a smoker but have no problem being around people who smoke, don't consume alcohol but more than happy to have a. non alcoholic beverage while others enjoy their alcohol.

I speak faster than I should.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me the most important thing in life is the ability to make good and informed decisions. We are where we are because of the decisions we made in the past, or by people on our behalf ( when we were too young to make any ). I strongly believe meeting new people from different backgrounds / cultures, strengthens that decision making ability.

It also helps us exercise the mind and sometimes appreciate the smaller things in life.

We learn something new everyday, I'm sure if we get a chance to meet, I can learn something from you and you, something from me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Travel consists of 2 major components. The destination and the journey. Don't let the destination take away the joy of the journey.

Always take / consider advice from the elderly very seriously not because they may be wiser but because they are richer than us in terms of experience with time.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Unlike many couchsurfers, I am unable to cook so I won't be able to cook you any good / spicy Indian food. What I can share with you however is ideas and opportunities to make your money grow in different parts of the world in currencies other than your own.

Fundamental principal of investing - never keep all your eggs in one basket. Earlier the basket was India but now thanks to globalization and broadband internet this basket has become the 🌎

It's a huge world out there with hundreds of countries and thousands of investment opportunities. If we ever get a chance to meet I'd love to learn how you invest in your home country and I can introduce you to multiple investment avenues I've learnt about thanks to my world travels.
