Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Would love to host more couchsurfers, It's a bit tricky when I'm rarely around to do so!
I think it's a great way to meet other open minded folk.

Interests

Finding new places, meeting new people, being outdoors as much as possible.. going surfing, cycling. Eating and cooking tasty food of all kinds.

Music, Movies, and Books

Most music that isn't your standard chart rubbish, but each to their own. A few favorites being Queens of the Stone Age, Tom Waits, The Kinks, Jimi Hendrix.

Love a good movie with a bit of depth and creativity. Anything by Wes Anderson, Cohen Brothers, Jim Jarmusch, Tarantino is usually worth a watch.

Reading is something I don't do enough of, but love the classics- Steinbeck, Bukowski. Recently enjoyed Kon Tiki and Cloud Atlas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being a Snowmaker, working 2000m up a volcano at night with just stars to keep me company.. not to mention braving some feircly cold conditions.

I love learning from others, and I have so much to learn!
I've taught many to surf.. on beaches.. not couches.
