My husband and I came to Alaska for three months in 1970. We taught in Yupik villages before moving to Kenai in 1974. Kenai is a city of about 7300 people located in the midst of the most beautiful mountains and the ocean and we're embedded here. We both volunteer and my husband has been involved in politics at many levels since he was in high school.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We used to do Educator's Bed and Breakfast and loved having folks wander through and get acquainted with us and our area. We also enjoyed visiting other places and making friends along the way while we got to know about local areas. We have lots of room and decided to get back to hosting.
