I love adventure, travel and God. I am not afraid to try new things, and am young at heart. I've got a 'can do' attitude and am always finding the money, the time and the deals to travel. Also love art, music and culture. Been traveling since I was little and just love how it expands your mind as you meet new people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will host, travel and surf when I can. I no longer have a nice big house, but a little two bedroom house with one bath, but why not help people out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted and surfed. I've been hosting and surfing with friends around the world for years, but was glad to finally find like minded people in the CS community. I've enjoyed every person I've met through CS and love that I can expand my horizons and meet others who aren't afraid to make new friends and learn from others' points of view.

兴趣

People, art, photography, lots of different music but especially Folk & Irish, outdoor music festivals, museums, culture, and fun things like kayaking, canoeing, biking, etc. Though not as active as I use to be, I'm still young at heart. Was in the corporate world for 10 years, but gave that up for a more meaningful existence. We recently retired & moved back to North Florida.

Music: Folk, Celtic, Americana, Jack Johnson, Bob Marley, Mumford & Sons, and who doesn't love classic rock. Books: A variety, but my husband love history books.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Birthed my daughter in a log cabin in Alaska, 300 miles from the nearest hospital with a whole group of people singing in the next room during the delivery. Slept in a hammock on a boat traveling down the Amazon river. Won a sweepstakes of $5000 when I was a young mom and absolutely broke with no car. Befriended a lot of people internationally.
