About Me

I'm taking a cross country road trip from Virginia to Washington (down through Cali) and back. I'll be touring the upper half of the country first then circling around going through areas like Arizona, Texas, Lousianna, etc.
Looking to meet cool people and locals who can show me around!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling across the country and looking to have a bit of companionship! Also need places that are pet friendly, as I will be traveling with my American Bulldog Pitbull Mix! She just turned a year in June and is incredibly friendly. She also loves (is obsessed haha) with cats and is great with other dogs and children:)

Also, when I get back I'm excited to share my space with anyone who comes to town. It's all about sharing experiences and learning from one another! Excited to give what I can to the situation!

And my favorite books are the diaries of Anais Nin, Frida Kahlo, a Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Homeless Bird, No Exit by Sartre, So Sad Today by Melissa Broder, Anne Sexton poems, Small Beam of Light by Emery Allen, and Brian Andreas Story People book of poetry!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Drove to Texas from Virginia when I was 17.
-Went to Hawaii twice in a year.
-Went Humpback whale watching.
-Swam with manarays at night time.
-Drove a boat through a jungle in Mexico

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been a traveling bean my whole life and don't really have any unique skills, but I know some Arabic and can teach anyone who wants to brush up on there skills!

I can also teach you how to take care of certain plants and such. I'm a total green thumb trying to turn my apartment into a jungle.
Looking to learn how other people live and about the culture of different places.

I also write poetry, people tell me I'm good at it, but I'm still not so sure hahah.

Mainly, I would love for you to show me local places that are holes in the wall and I have tons of travel plans so you could join me! We could go to museums, or swimming, or out to eat, or even take an air tram or try some new food together while simultaneously getting to know one another:)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Crazy stories of my being young in America and I'll cook for you! Beware it's not my strong suit yet. I can also probably give you some cool souviners of my travels! Or write you a crappy poem or something hahah but hey it would make a good momento!
Would love to take you out to eat as a token of my gratitude and you can pick the place.
