About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discover more of the world as a family

ABOUT ME

To summarize, life is just too short and the world is so big, I want to see more of it and meet different people, different cultures, countries. I have been lucky enough to live in 4 different countries : France, NZ, Australia and England and I wish to visit more. The most important thing for me is to do it as a family. Our sons are very adaptable, the eldest started learning Italian to visit Pompei and the youngest wants to learns Arabic to visit Egypt.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are always ready to host to give back some of what we have been given. We have only hosted a few guests but it has been great to meet them and spend time with them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First we had great advices on different places to visit in Tuscany. So that was very helpful.

We have hosted several British men, an American couple, A Chinese lady, a Catalan lady, a Mexican man...

We are planning future trips to Egypt and Scandinavia (very different I know) in a few months or years so I think I will start looking for some contacts and hopefully friendships.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a lot of books, one of my favorite is My sweet orange tree by Jose Mauro de Vasconcelos. I also like very recently "My Dear I wanted to tell you" by Louisa Young.
For movies I love studios Ghibli animes especially Grave of the fireflies which is one of the most touching story you can find.
For music, I like classical, rock, pop, musicals...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know...Meeting my husband, having my 2 sons, pretty down to earth but wonderful. I'm happy with my life and I think that is amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

Wonderful project. I already swap my French knowledge against some English tutoring for my son, so I love the idea.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can take you around if I am available. We can chat about a lot of subjects, cook all kind of weird food from French cuisine to sushis or Mexican blue tortillas...

Countries I’ve Visited
