About Me

I DO NOT KNOW MY PLAN FOR MARCH OR APRIL

(I started receiving many requests and I am not taking a lot of guests now.Sorry I won't write everyone messages but I will try to press yes or no as soon as possible.)

Hi, I am Takashi.

I am hosting out of pure hospitality and to pay forward all the kindness I received when I was traveling.

[Location]
You may see that my address is not exactly "Tokyo" but it's near the Tokyo/Chiba border and you can consider it as Tokyo. Please see the "My House" section. If you are looking for a relaxing space with privacy but still want to see Tokyo every day, my place will be a good place.

As you can see from my travel pictures, people were so kind to me and helped me a lot...
so even when my economic situation was not so good, I was able to travel and see the world. Now, fortunately, my housing and job situation has somewhat improved but I have almost zero social life (due to covid, moving to a new place and a lot of homework)...so I thought couchsurfing seemed a logical choice. It's my turn to be kind to the world and promote good things about my culture.

If I am not busy, I would hang out with you if you want. If you need privacy and quiet time, I will leave you alone.

A very nice lady I met in Colombia, who owned a hostel once said "If I cant travel the world, I will bring the world around me."
Well, it has become my motto.
(Also, doing it in Japan is good, because you don't find our security, sushi and onsen anywhere else on the Earth.)

I used to study and live in the US.
Have traveled 40+ countries.

I work as a translator, and recently started learning interpretation.

The reference will help you get the idea of me.
