About Me

Hello!! I am a medical student and Biomedical Engineering athlete graduate at the University of South Carolina. I've always loved interacting and meeting new people. Traveling, as every other person on this website, is one of the most fundamental parts of my life. I love adventuring through cities without the feeling of being a tourist. Some of the most influential friends to my life have been through this website. I am excited to meet as many fellow adventurists as possible!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always loved this website and used it during my entire backpack trip through Europe. However it was on my brothers account, who introduced me to this website. Being able to travel through a city without feeling like a complete tourist is always my goal no matter where i travel. Couchsurfing has the perfect balance that allows me to enjoy the city while meeting new and wonderful friends!

Teach, Learn, Share

When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world.

I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation.

When I found I couldn't change the nation, I began to focus on my town. I couldn't change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family.

Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family. My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world.
