Traveling Ireland solo for a week. Looking to meet and stay with locals who wouldn’t mind me tagging along for a day or two during the host :)

ABOUT ME

Taylor grew up in San Jose, CA but has lived in many places in the Bay Area, in Reno, NV, and many cities in Florida. Taylor loves to travel, learn new languages, and sing Karaoke.

PHILOSOPHY

Taylor’s feels that everyone should have the opportunity to travel and have the locals welcome visitors with open arms. Taylor has benefited considerably from the generosity of the Couchsurfing community over the years and, now that he has a home that allows him to host, he wants to contribute to the Couchsurfing community in the best way he can - by hosting!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Taylor has couchsurfed in Munich, Berlin, Austria, London, and Oxford so far! Though our couchsurfer days may be numbered/limited, with our growing family, we want to continue to participate as hosts!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Taylor's first couchsurfer experience was also the first experience for the family that hosted me. It could not have been better. The family took me to their garden where we had dinner and the mom, who is a biology teacher, took me with her class to the Naturköndig (spell check) Museum in Berlin for a field trip.

Taylor enjoys rowing, reading, dancing, karaoke, playing board games, enjoying large meals with friends, and just hanging out.

Music, Movies, and Books

Taylor enjoys music that ranges from 90's RnB, 90's country, 90's alternative, acoustic covers, Hall and Oates, dance remixes - you name it!

Taylor enjoys self-help-like books (Getting to Yes!, Walden Two, Don't Shoot the Dog, and similar books).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When Taylor was on a mission trip in Guatemala, he jumped off a trapeze swing into a lake of water in the crater of a dormant volcano.

Taylor has hitchhiked from Bratislava, Slovakia to Freiburg, Germany in one day!

I love to cook with hosts. I enjoy sharing meals and time together, whether that's going out to a bar or staying in and playing board games with your friends.
