About Me

Summary:

Welcome to Vienna!

Minimum stay 2 nights if you are a single traveller, one night more for each additional person. Longerstayers prefered (yes, I really mean it).

Situation is interesting at the moment: Quite a number of surfers who have already been in my place come back, therefore my house is full most of the time. That means I might not be able to host new people.

I´m also on bewelcome.org (username musti). You may wish to send a request there.

+ Welcome to Wien. This profile is 100% free of hidden passwords.
+ No bullshit rules like "when I leave the house you leave the house"
+ You can live on your own schedule.
+ If you fail to answer questions regarding your arrival I will cancel the accepted request. (No worries, I will ask a couple of times before doing it, but there was a clown who still didn´t tell). Reason is that I have to be home to open the door (or I organize somebody to open the door for you).

Short stays:

When I travel, the first thing is orientating where I am landed, then looking for my hosts place, then looking for a supermarket: One day is gone.

Then at the end packing things, going to the means of transport which might be far away: One day is gone.

That´s why short stays are not serious travel and that´s why I always stay longer and prefer people who also do so. So one can do his own thing but there´s still time for a chat with the host.

CURRENT MISSION

To explore the world

ABOUT ME

I do not appear on the Austria´s top 100 most important people.

Statistician / Teacher. My real passion is travelling, and I do it antytime I´m able to. I also like to meet travellers at my home.

PHILOSOPHY

To live and let live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting more then surfing - I have to work after all.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It is about 200 times that somebody stayed with me. I used to be more into Hospitalityclub (username musti; I was the first Austrian member there), then Couchsurfing came, and since it´s a corporate something, I hope for the development of Bewelcome.
