About Me

I think life has no meaning, but if we fight really-really hard, we can get closer to making it meaningful.

I'm into Urban Planning - because humans deserve to live in pleasant environments
I'm into Organizational Development - because humans shouldn't work on bullshit jobs
I'm into Tech - because it's the zeitgeist
and the prosperity of humanity, because I'm an idealist.
Also: history, video games, and dank memes.

I have a meme book with my favorite memes printed at home.
Living in Poland for 7 years.

I'm a maker. I often get different business ideas, sometimes I execute them, they often fail.

Here is my wife's profile https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/daria-k-17

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a way to explore the world for me, and a way to have honest talks with people I will [probably] never meet again.
So far, I've met a lot of great people here offline, and I even managed to do some "online Couchsurfing" during the pandemic. The dude in another country mentioned that he was organizing TEDx, I offered my help, and we did it together.

I don't like the people who traveled across the world only to drink beer and recite Fast and Furious quotes at night with bros. Traveling is about seeing the world and changing yourself.

Interests

Another thing I'm interested in are NGOs. I'm currently helping one, but I'm curious to understand how can we deliver a positive impact at scale.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like some of the A24 movies.
I also love Chinese national music, although I don't listen to it daily.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I visited a couple of abandoned flats in Pripyat, Chernobyl, right after having lunch in the local canteen. I was pretty scared of opening the doors of the abandoned flats.
And that was before the release of the series on HBO.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help you with job search/interview prep cause I'm good at jumping through the hoops in the recruitment circus.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Maybe I will plant a communist seed in your brain. Or let's argue about what will come after capitalism.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Poland, Ukraine
