About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To taste the world, one slice at a time...

ABOUT ME

What is there to say? I cook, I write, I dance, I photograph, I travel, I savor the sweet moments, and I am passionate for life. In my world, there's no such thing as 'free time' simply because any moment I find that I'm not occupied, I immediately find something to fill the void. As my favorite critic, Anthony Bourdain, once said, "You can live to be 100 years old if you give up the things that make you want to live to be 100." For those who understand the meaning of living your dreams, carpe diem, and seeking to make the world a better place to live in, then you understand who I am.

PHILOSOPHY

As I learn more and more everyday what it means to lead a 'called life,' I seek to better the world around me through my personal connections with other individuals. I know that I am not meant to be a missionary or a foreign aid, but I do think that can all learn a lot through our experiences with the rest of humanity. Luckily I have chosen to follow a profession that requires me to travel on a regular basis, and through the experiences I will have at home and abroad, I hope that in such a global community we will be able to understand and appreciate the necessarily diverse world we live in. I am overwhelmingly passionate about life, every aspect of it, and I try to make every day I live the best it can possibly be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Though I have not participated in CS yet, I hope to get involved very soon by not only traveling and meeting other incredible people across the globe but also by showing people more about the place I live in!

Interests

I'm a HUGE sports fan. Not only because sports and sheer athleticism is exciting to me, but also because I think sports and traditions have just as much to say about culture and identity as does food and music. I basically live from sporting event to sporting event...for instance, I see the year 2010 as this: US college football championships, Australian open, the Super Bowl, the Winter Olympics, March Madness, the Champions League Final, the World Cup, the US Open, College Football season, Serie A and EPL fall season begins, etc.
