About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel the world & experience every country (82 so far)
ABOUT ME
I consider myself a professional traveler and do my best to help others meet their travel goals, needs and wants.
I've managed to experience 82 countries on 6 continents and 55+ cruises and I've only just begun.
My favorite time of the year is every June (since 2005) where I organize a group trip adventure to the all-inclusive, beachfront and tropical Hedonism II in Negril, Jamaica--and the group is open to all fun-loving adults! Come join us.
PHILOSOPHY
Several come to mind:
"Good girls go to heaven, bad girls go everywhere!"
"Life is short,
Break the rules,
Forgive quickly,
Kiss slowly,
Love truly,
Laugh uncontrollably,
And never regret anything that made you smile. "
"TOO MUCH OF A GOOD THING IS STILL NOT ENOUGH"
life is a gift...accept it.
life is an adventure...dare it.
life is mystery...unfold it.
life is a game...play it.
life is a struggle...face it.
life is a beauty...praise it.
life is a puzzle...solve it.
life is opportunity...take it.
life is sorrowful...experience it.
life is a song...sing it.
life is a goal...achieve it.
life is a mission...fulfill it.
life is a love...feel it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Pass on information and experiences to make it easy for others and for others not to repeat my mistakes or mis-directions.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
While building a home, I spent 6 months "homeless" and spent the time traveling, meeting up with people (those that once said, "If you are ever in the area...)
I just did this in Switzerland in Nov. 2013 following my 8 night Danube River cruise by contacting friends I met while on a Great Barrier Reef live-aboard 5 years ago.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have flown in helicopters, seaplanes, prop planes and 747's.
I have taken various types of trains from the Alaska railroad to the Eurostar to an unnamed Viet Nam train from Hue to Hanoi.
I have raced in a hot air balloon, bounced around in a Humvee, wrestled with dirt bikes, zip-lined through a rain forest canopy, walked across a deep divide on a narrow rope bridge, jet-skied in the Pacific ocean, boated in everything including a zodiac raft, canoe, kayak, sailboat, powerboat, catamaran, submarine, freighter, ferry and cruiseship.
I have hiked and slid down sand dunes in Viet Nam, hiked up Haleakala Volcano in Maui, walked on a path used by Roman soldiers, stood with one foot on either side of the equator & hemispheres, and run between airline terminals trying to catch a flight!
Regardless of the manner I travel, I do my best to accept whatever form it takes and am grateful when I arrive at my destination safely.
