About Me
Hi!
After a couple of years in Brest, I am moving to Strasbourg with my wife Saena.
Before, I lived in many countries and travelled many more. I'm very fond of alternative ways of travelling, such as with my bike.
I try to learn languages when I travel. For the moment, I speak French and English fluently, I can manage in German and Dutch (but that last one is a bit rusty) and I'm starting with Spanish, Portuguese and Farsi. My wife speaks French, Farsi, Spanish and English fluently. She can also sepak a decent Portuguese and has a basic level in a wide variety of other languages.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people from around the world and exchange with them. To encourage people to travel and discover.
Interests
My interests are very large as I value curiosity greatly. I like to talk and I like people who talk too. I like to learn and I like to teach. I like people who are passionate about what they're saying, it makes anything interesting. I like creativity of all sorts.
I like playing games, we've got lots of games at home and often have friends coming to play.

Music, Movies, and Books
There's a lot of great stuff created out there and I like discovering it.
I listen to all types of music. I like to pick up new stuff and alternate between various styles. I sing when I drive my car and when I take my shower.
I watch a lot of movies and, when I like them, I can get really taken into them. It's when you feel sad or angry or happy or any other emotion after a movie that you know it's a good one. They're not all good, but there are so many I loved that I wouldn't know where to start.
I'm more picky with books and, every year, there are only a few that I read that really move me. Last one, up to date, was The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Raced alongside a whale at night on a sailing boat for several hours.
Cycling along the east coast of Canada, hosted by many people who weren't on any hosting network.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a certain experience in alternative ways of travelling (cycling, wwoofing, hitch hiking, couch surfing of course) so I can always share advice with anyone interested in these means of travel and I do like to learn about this.
