About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Seize the day, one after the other.

ABOUT ME

I have always liked travelling and learning about world culture. I´ve lived in England for two years and met many interesting people, some of which I still have contact with. I have participated in environmental ngos for many years, trying the balance our society´s huge footprint on the nature. I have already worked in many different places and still haven´t figured out what I´m gonna be when I grow up. Why bother growing up, anyways?

PHILOSOPHY

I feel inspired by the deep ecology movement (Arne Naess) and that includes wishing well all the living beings, asking deep questions, and acting acordingly to the beliefs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I´ve heard about couchsurfing and became instantly interested. It´s a great idea and I hope to meet many people this way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have already slept at many different couches and always liked to host people at my place, usually close friends, but not always. Sometimes friends of friends come by and stay for a few days.

Interests

I like the nature very much, and the environmental issues, in general. Also interested in photography (landscape and macro, specially), drawing (landscape), beer drinking and homebrewing. I used to sing in a band when I was younger, nowadays I sing in the shower.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Rock´n Roll very much, sounds a bit old-fashioned, but these are the bands that drive me: Rolling Stones, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin. I also have become interested in reggae, trip hop and downtempo techno in recent years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living is an amazing phenomenon itself. I think we are very fortunate people if we are alive. It´s our responsability to make the most of it, having a good time and helping others in the pursuit of happines and well-being.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like the English Language very much and enjoy talking about its history and features (that means teaching and learning).
Homebrewing beer is another one of my passions, I already know a few things, but have much to learn yet.

Countries I’ve Visited

Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom
