About Me

Hey Guys,
My name is Tim, I live in Mühlheim , which is near Frankfurt. As a kid and teenager, I visited many countries such as South Africa, the US, Peru, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand (Bangkok) and also many European countries. I´ve completed an apprenticeship at a gym as a sports and fitness management assistant and am now studying Onlinejournalism.

It is my goal to finish my studies at the university and then go on a trip around the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and I love having company, so I hope to be a host for lots of people who visit Hessen and Frankfurt. I would love to have interesting people stay at my place and build up connections with them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 16, I stayed in New Zealand for six months as an international student. I fell in love with the people and the landscape. It is an absolutely magical place and I have so many great memories!

Teach, Learn, Share

From the book "Vagabonding" by Rolf Potts:
In India, there´s an old parable about a wise king who sent two of his court officers away to explore faraway lands. One of the courtiers, the king had observed, was arrogant and self-absorbed; the other was generous and open-minded.
After many months of travel and exploration, both men returned home to report their findings.
When the king questioned the men about the cities they visited, the generous courtier said that he found the people of foreign lands to be hospitable, generally kindhearted, and not much different from the people one met at home.
On hearing this, the arrogant officer scoffed with envy, bcause the cities he´d visited were full of scheming liars, cheats, and wicked barabarians.
Listening to these reports, the king laughed to himself - for he had sent both men to the same places.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to show people Frankfurt and maybe invite them to eat. Or we can cook at my place.
If my guests are interested and the pandemic is maybe not so dominant anymore, we can go PARTY!
