I love CS because almost everyone I've met has the similar intent to be as friendly and adventurous as I am. I have met some of the most amazing ppl and can't wait to meet even more. CS is the best thing online because it filters ignorant BS and opens doors to the coolest cats on our planet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A fellow CSer told me that Seoul has shrunk since before so I will do my very best to organize great events so that we can properly represent!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

1) Akiko and Junko tripped over from Japan and I got to meet about a dozen CSers in Seoul.
(wow, that was a long time ago. Right now, I'm earning my stripes by hosting as many ppl as I can because I want to see the world on ppls couches.)

CS UPDATE:
I have been leading the Seoul CS meetups every Tue and Friday, and this new circle of friends has led me to believe that my whole social life now revolves around Couch Surfing and the wonders that are there. Every time I see an unfamiliar face, I take the time to introduce myself along with all those around us. CS is so special to me that I want everyone else to know how wonderful it really is. CS~!

Interests

Everything new always interests me best because I get a kick out of knowing. I value the pollenation of flowers as much as I would a six-figure porche, so the range of my interests is somewhat staggering. I think the latest kick was finding out that Cooper Anderson is Gloria Vanderbilts son. Stuff like that, I supppose, but not in the celebrity way. Anyways, I love knowing and learning things that makes the world special.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy any song or tune that makes me close my eyes and feel the beat. I guess Rap/hip-hop is my favorite type of music since those songs usually makes me bounce bounce!My favorite movie genre is Romantic-comedy and I'm not ashamed to admit it since I just did. These movies take me on the best emotional roller-coaster rides and I love feeling for the characters and rooting for that impossible happy ending. When Harry Met Sally is my all-time favorite because it was the superbly written script that made audiences imagine most of the key scenes. I don't have a favorite book because I don't read much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I thought Niagara falls was amazing simply because I couldn't figure out where all that damn water was flowing down from. Ulleungdo was breathtaking as well. Untouched beauty. And of course, Las Vegas, simply because there is so much in the middle of nowhere.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach English, Learn Spanish and Korean, & Share everything. Specifically, anything positive and optimistic. The act of sharing knowledge includes the very important responsibility of spreading love and beauty over hate and fear. fb posts and comments can precisely define the type of person a person is. I lean towards sharing humor for high entertainment value because it's what I enjoy the most. Making others laugh.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have yet to surf someone's couch so I can't really say as to what I can offer potential hosts. I'm guessing that I can offer insights into Seoul because there seems to be a newfound global interest in Korea and its culture. Compared to other surfers, I have not travelled so there isn't much I could offer in terms of travelling tips and what not. I will make him or her laugh because I've been accused many times of denying the world of laughter by not going public with my act.
