ABOUT ME

Welcome to finnish countryside! We are a family of two, Tuulevi & Henrik. Our son and daughter have moved out but visit here sometimes. We have a cat Samu (we lost our old finnish laphund Muusa last September). Our daughter’s small dog Huisi (mittelspitz) visits us often.

We live in countryside in southern savo, Mikkeli (in Ristiina area). You need car or sometimes we can pick from bus/train, just ask. Here you can row a boat and swim in a small lake - in summertime, of course. Our place is about 30 minutes drive from Mikkeli centre: pocket size city :)

I work as a specialist of continuous learning in South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences – Xamk and also as a professional coach and trainer at Onnenoma.

Long time ago we were Hospitality club -guests in Amsterdam and our host told about CS!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a member of Hospitality club also and have visited in a couple of families this way: Italy & Holland. It has been great! I also have been couchsurfing in Denmark, England, France and Finland with my daughter / husband and have had great time. We are also waiting guest here, welcome!

Interests

Nature. Cooking with mys husband. Empowering photography. Vedic art. Spiritual growth. I just love reading books in my sofa, travelling all around in Finland & abroad, cooking and writing own stories in my blogs (in Finnish, sorry)

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share this nature here around our home: walking in the forest and swimming in the lake. We can sit around the fire and enjoy silent evenings - and talk together :)
